Search did not come up with this suggestion, but it seems obvious.
Commenting is always better when users can go back and edit their comment (within 15mins or whatever) so they can correct themselves without replying to their own comment to do so.
Most people don't bother to proofread until AFTER they've posted and read it in the post.
