Make widgets more varied

It's good that you have a widget to the right, but it would be better to have various types of them and to be able to make them smaller or move around a webpage etc.

Do you have any particular needs?

Note also within few weeks new API is going to be added which will allow you to create your own widgets with your own design. I believe it will help.

Logo resizing

After uploading, the project logo can be only cut, not resized. It's not convenient at all.

Offer the tool in several languages

There are only 5 buttons in this tool. Would be not a lot of work to translate them in numbers of languages.

Several language versions of Idea Informer are already abailable. Please find German, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish. Polish. Bulgarian and Danish localizations.

In order to change the language of your project please do the following:
- Sign in
- Go to your project settings
- Select the language you need in the Basic features tab
- Don't forget to save the settings!

Please note, that you'll need to update the code of your widget. In order to do it please select 'Save and continue' at the Widget tab of your settings, and then press Save again. Copy the new widget code and add it to your website instead of the old one.

Better anonymous users authentication

As far as I can see anonymous users are authenticated via cookies. So if I vote for an idea once as anonymous and then delete my browser cookies I am able to vote again. This compromises the whole voting idea. Suggestion: use IP-based anonymous...

Add SSL to your Widget

We would like to include your widget to a site which is secured via SSL. Including the widget now leads to warnings from the browser that some elements are not secured. Would be great if you could ad SSL to the pages needed by the widget.

Good idea. I am including it into our to-do list. However, it will not be very quick - right now we have higher priority items such as different categories and API (so people will be able to use their own GUI).

Introduce titles

Such as prof, expert, lamer etc. Thus, competent users will be easily recognisable. This can be done according to the number of messages or results of an opinion poll...

Idea.Informer, first of all, is a great area for us to embody and work out some of our solutions, that will later find an appliance in commercial development (or become a single custom-project on the basis of our service).
Everything definitely goes well, we assure you; the elaboration of our project is in no danger. We are not going to "shut down", "remove" or "cut" the free part of the service as so as choke it up with advertisement.
Idea.Informer is free and will remain free in the future.

In the widget, if I click "All ideas", I can still see declined or completed ideas.

Those should be removed from the widget. And by the way, why can I vote on a declined idea?

Use more AJAX for the widget...

Instead of using regular links and iframes, use AJAX. I suppose you guys are handy enough with JavaScript if you can come up with that slightly annoying share bar thing.

Custom design feature should be used together with domain feature. In other words, please go to "Domain" tab in project setting and change it to your subdomain (it requires CNAME changes).

We will make this feature available soon for standard domain as well.
