Getting lots of SPAM comments on projectet ideas

I am getting about 30 SPAM messages posted to my projects per week. I cannot ban / block any of the SPAM users.

Can anything be done about the large amount of SPAM?

There's an IP-adress ban function in moderation section.
We're working on spam problem, but spamers are working hard also.
