Change idea status from default

I'm probably doing something dumb but I've looked everywhere and can't figure out how to change the status on my ideas to anything other than the default "waiting for consideration." Please clue me in...

I don't see that option. Is it because I'm the author of the idea?

If anyone else is experiencing this issue, it works if you add "rc." to the url. For instance change
http://project.idea.informer.com
to
http://project.rc.idea.informer.com

That works for me, after doing this I'm able to change status.
